For the Remarkable Women I Know

I am sure many of you have seen this before on the internet, but I was reminded of it this week, while I was praying for one of those women who just never complains. Perhaps it will encourage you today, or encourage you to encourage a sister.

Remarkable Women

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up for injustice.

They don’t take ‘no’ for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without new shoes so their children can have them.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel and cheer when their

friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They have sorrow at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.

They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or email you to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what is what makes the world spin!

Women do more than just give birth.

They bring joy and hope.

They give compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.

Thank you for being one who gives.

How true, and how much, as women, we need to hear this from time to time to solidify what God says about us and how He created us ALL, but the woman he created that more sensitive side that wants to nurture, no matter whether you are a single person or a person who has never married, there is that nurturing, that caring for children, for friends, to come along side for so many reasons.

You know the old song "I am woman, hear me roar." That brings to mind that instinct of protection of those we love from those that hurt the ones we love.

He has created us with so many wonderful facets to say, "Glory to You, Lord. You are the creator of me. I am thankful.

I know, too, so many women that need to be honored and reading this brings me joy, for we were made just so to bring that part too of joy to give to others and others to give to us.

A great blog.
